Lima Ohio police report Richard Rupert captured near Spencerville nine refuses to resist after escape from Lima jail on March 28. Rupert joined accomplices John Dave Brankin 23 and James Moore of La Follette Tenn who escaped from the jail described as escape proof.
Hollywood report says actor Jon Hall and singer Frances Langford have agreed on a separation after nearly sixteen years of marriage. Their attorney Leon Kaplan says busy careers left little time for the couple, leading to the split.

In Wellsville New York several hundred youngsters at an Easter egg hunt caused a scramble when the hunt director slipped Patrolman Eugene Dash the prize golden egg to hide. Dash was knocked down as kids dashed and the egg was crushed in his pocket. Dennis Winship a kindergarten pupil found the most shell fragments and was declared winner. Dash returned bedraggled from the melee.
Dr D W Heusinkveld of Cincinnati, a leader in the tuberculosis fight, was named president elect of the Ohio Medical Association and will assume office April 18 1955. The 1954 president was Dr Merrill D Prugh of Dayton. Heusinkveld also leads the Ohio Tuberculosis and Health Association.
Robert Steen, 24, of Cleveland, escaped from the Ashtabula County jail Thursday and remained free for about one hour before being recaptured in Jefferson Ohio after breaking away during a return to his cell from a talk with his lawyer.
Federal jury convicts Louis Shoulders veteran police officer of perjury in testimony about ransom money handling in the Greenlease kidnaping case.
