Jury acquits theft suspect in historic armored truck raid

An all male federal jury in Boston acquitted George D. O'Brien of Quincy, 44, of larceny in the record $681,700 Danvers armored truck raid of March 25, 1942. Verdict came after under two hours. Judge George Sweeney noted no personal agreement with the decision and said the jury was locked up after the foreman's wife was threatened.
