POMEROY April 12 Staff demanded removal of Henry Corradini from the office of Meigs County relief administrator. Funeral at 2 pm Saturday at the home with burial in West Union Street Cemetery. She leaves three children John and Dorothy of Athens and Mrs Claud Parker of Gallipolis, and two brothers and a sister. Her life was noted for charity and neighborly deeds.
Thieves scaled a six foot wall to lift a cage of 150 white rats from a Chicago laboratory. The rats are infected with tuberculosis and were inoculated during experimentation, posing a risk of spreading the disease unless handled carefully.

Passaic N J April 12 Jacob Bisman an investigator in the Passaic County drive against slot machines died today in Beth Terael Hospital with four bullets in his body. He headed a private patrol service and had been active in the campaign to end the slot machine racket. He was shot early today.
