Elyria residents face danger after three teat tubes with scarlet fever germs were stolen from Miss Mabel Wade, county public health nurse. Police suspect local youths carried off the cultures while she transported them to the lab to test active cases. Authorities warned against breaking the tubes to prevent spread.

The couple had been unemployed since last February and depended on a daily dollar from their CCC son. Police officers O P Smith and another officer pursued Horvath as he threatened them with a gun.
Columbus April 18. Ohio Liquor Department will require all future purchases to be accurately labelled with age ingredients and alcohol content. The liquor board upheld Col John A Hughes who revoked the Stone Grill Chillicothe permit after inspectors charged liquor was sold to minors.
A federal warrant seeks the arrest of Doyt Emerson for allegedly trying to extort $5,000 from Mr and Mrs A J Clymer of Van Wert heirs to the Marsh fortune. Emerson, 27, allegedly sent a note signed J Dillinger after nightly incidents aimed at frightening the couple.
