Ohio Joint Resolution Proposes Constitution Amendments
Amended Senate Joint Resolution and multiple House Joint Resolutions seek to amend Article I and Article II of the Ohio Constitution to adjust General Assembly administration and procedures. The proposal calls for a May 1973 special election and outlines sessions, vacancies, journal keeping, bill passage, and governor powers. It preserves key provisions while repealing several existing sections. Secretary of State Ted W. Brown certifies the measure.
