Sophomores Win In Mercer Class Rush Against Freshmen
The Mercer sophomore class defeated the freshmen in a campus class rush tearing ribbons from a cross beam high above. Noses bled and clothing was torn as freshmen attempted to scale the mass to seize the ribbon while sophomores blocked them. Afterward the victors marched the freshmen downtown and to the Majestic Theater where entry was denied.
