Key to Minnesota to be Turned Today

Minneapolis May 9 Republican caucuses to be held tomorrow in Hennepin county, including Minneapolis, are expected to indicate the wind in Minnesota’s presidential nomination contest. Delegates to the Chicago convention will be chosen by district and state conventions next week, with Taft Roosevelt and La Follette on the ballot for caucus votes. Roosevelt backers predict a Roosevelt landslide as La Follette’s strength wanes. Taft supporters hope the progressive vote splits between Roosevelt and La Follette.
