George Traylor Joins Harris Springs Hotel as Assistant Manager

George W. Traylor Jr. resigned from the Piedmont Hotel Atlanta on May 11 to become assistant manager of the Harris Springs Hotel in Lithia Springs, with F. W. Schetlin as manager. The Harris Springs property has new electric bells and telephones, and will feature first class service and music at 40 to 82 cents. The report also notes Vanderbilt’s strength and Georgia’s bid to beat them, plus a medical ad warning against mercury in catarrh treatments.

Warrant Dismissed Against MMR Epting

Yesterday morning John Epting was committal in before Judge Foster on assault and battery charges. The warrant, sworn by O C Schofield, foreman of the University, was dismissed for lack of evidence after Epting claimed Schofield used objectionable language and that he acted in self defense. Committee to decide church locations and funds

A meeting of First Merconee Street Methodist officials approved a resolution to extend funds and decide church locations in Athena. A committee led by Dr I S Hopkins Hodgson and Rev G E Stone with T W Reed will meet at the First Methodist church parsonage tomorrow at 8 o'clock to carry out their duties.

Death of Frank Kytle at fifteen months after brief illness

Serious Accident Injures Turner & Hodgson Salesman

J W McElhannon a popular Turner and Hodgson salesman was badly hurt at the store Monday night after leaving the Christian church. He tripped over lumber in the doorway and nails pierced his left knee requiring Ed Turner to pull them out. Dr Rideout treated the injury and he hopes to return to work soon.
