The faculty and students of the State Normal School toured Col James M Smith’s Smithonia farm. They traveled by Georgia railroad for a day trip, met by a special train, and were shown around the large farm. Col Smith extended generous hospitality and the visit was greatly appreciated.

Farewell Services at East Athens Methodist Church

The University of Georgia Summer School, July to August, will be the South’s largest program of its kind. A directors meeting in Chancellor Hill’s office revised bulletins and set plans while Hancock Greene and Oxlthorpe counties consider sending teachers in bodies.
