An ad promises a one day cure for colds using LAXATIVE BROMO Quinine. It claims to stop coughs and headaches and to work against the cold with a money back guarantee from druggists. The bottle bears ER W GROVE'S signature.
At the University of Georgia graduation ceremony a U S senator a congressman a governor and other officials sat in one row on stage. Two Middlebrooks brothers earned bachelor degrees as their father celebrated with them. Henry Q McDaniel was elected president of the university board of trustees. Alumni reminisce about decades of commencements including Gen Peter Meldrim and a veteran graduate George Dowse Harris whose grandfather led the class of 1804.
