Hanson Uncle Lace Hanson laid to rest with pallbearers six sons
Mr J T Hanson known as Uncle Lace Hanson dies at 74 after four days illness in Jefferson while visiting home. Burial in Puryear district with six grown sons as pallbearers. Survived by two Athens sons D W Hanson and E L Hanson and four others in Jackson county plus a daughter and many grandchildren. He was a longtime Methodist.

Mad Dog Runs Amuck In Scufflerit Area

From forty to sixty thousand bushels of cotton seed, valued at 20000 to 25000 dollars, was bought in one block yesterday by Athens based Southern Cotton Oil Company under manager John B.
