In his Sunday sermon Rev E L Hill noted February 11 marked the fifth anniversary of the Pirgt Presbyterian Church pastorate. Over five years the church numbered 269 members, paid a $6,000 debt, bought a new manse, built Lane Chapel debt free, spent $30,381 on local purposes and $20,927 on benevolence, now supports three foreign missionaries, has an assistant pastor, and holds Sunday schools at two chapels each Sunday afternoon.
