Injured Woman in Cemetery Accident on River Bridge
Yesterday in Oconee cemetery Miss Susie Gerdine suffered severe spine shock when a horse pulling a hearse reared near the river bridge, throwing her to the ground. She was supported by bystanders, treated by Dr. Carlton, and taken to Hancock Avenue home for care as investigators assess her injuries and recovery prospects.

Odd Fellows and Rebekah Anniversary Exercises Held
Last night at the Odd Fellows Hall a large gathering celebrated with speakers Past Grand Sire John B. Goodwin of Atlanta and Past Grand M. Michael. Mrs. Thomas praised the Rebekah degree while C. H. Brand urged support for Rev. Mell. Daughters of the Confederacy endorsed Confederate veterans with the cross of honor and veterans’ poems were recited. Graves of Confederate veterans also decorated.
