Guilty verdicts mark busy Clarke County court day
In Clarke superior court yesterday Ed Fewclothes alias Ed Jones was found guilty of car breaking and robbery and sentenced to two years. Allen Abram pled guilty to shooting at another and received two years. W. A. Sanges was found not guilty on a misdemeanor charge. Wiley Garrison pled guilty to selling liquor awaiting sentence. W. O. Roberts faces larceny after trust next, with Carl Booth also set for trial tomorrow. Grand jury returned 20 to 25 true bills mainly on liquor and disorderly houses. The jury will continue through today.
