Insurance Money to Turner Says Court
Roy M. Turner now serving life in Missouri penitentiary for the murder of Mrs. Dora A. Gage in a Kansas City hotel last year is ruled to have no right to the $16,000 life insurance estate. The New York Life Insurance Co. paid the policy into district court to determine rightful ownership. Heirs of Mrs. Gage claim Turner illegally possessed the policy, which Turner said secured an未sold property, and a double indemnity policy paid on death by any cause other than natural causes.
