Handle Office Seekers Aboard Reed Era Kansas
Special to The Globe by A L Shultz From Topeka Kansas December 20 Herbert Hoover and Clyde Reed have probably solved life’s biggest problem for public office holders. They avoided the job chase and kept away from the crowd after votes counted. Reed’s illness and guarded house kept applicants in check while state business proceeds. Reed, elected governor, has issued a program and kept plans moving with little disruption. Only one appointment announced a stenographer for his private office. The legislative program and committees are taking shape as tax and highway measures loom for the coming session.
