Louis Lassen aged 18 died in a November 28 motor crash when John Flattre and H M Jahne of Lancaster allegedly collided with his car. County Attorney Maurice P. O Keefe filed three informations two manslaughter counts. none arrested yet. Coroners jury faulted Flattre for careless driving. witnesses said drinking. Inquisition prompted charges.

Death this morning claimed Mrs Emma Haegelin 80 well known Atchison pioneer and widow of Joseph Haegelin prominent brewer here years ago. Funeral services will be Monday morning at 9 30 a m from Sacred Heart church conducted by Father Isadore. The rosary will be recited at the Anderson home Sunday afternoon at 4 p m. Burial in Mt Vernon cemetery beside her husband.
