Jewelry forecast for autumn to showcase color and craft
Jewelers gather for the Retail Jewelers convention in early August to preview vibrant color trends in fine jewelry. Yellow and blue diamonds, multi color semi precious stones, and 14 karat gold rings with stones lead the lineup. Hand craftmanship and Art Deco enameling appear alongside zodiac and gypsy rings, with rare items like a 40001 strand of South Sea pearls and sculptured pieces. The event commemorates the League of Women Voters 50th anniversary with exhibits, wine tastings, and suppers.
