A spectacular blaze at Yosemite National Park destroyed the Glacier Paint Hotel and Mountain House on a Thursday drawing about 20 000 onlookers. No injuries reported. The Glacier Paint, oldest in the park, had been closed since May for repairs after roof damage from winter snows. The hotel, once home to a gift shop and famed for the Fire Fall spectacle, had its fire cause undetermined and no word on repairs or reconstruction.
