Henry Kabierske Dies After Illness In Monrovia Area

Henry Kabierske longtime director of film projects The Argonauts and The Daughter of the Don died in Los Angeles last Friday after an illness extending over more than a year. He earned a national reputation for organizing pageants in the East and was a Mission Play director. Mrs Kabierske and their daughter work in a Los Angeles department store.

Snow on Mount Wilson Brings Late Season White Return

Arcadia observers reported Mount Wilson peak blanketed in snow after a high hill storm knocked out power briefly. Snow began about 10 30 am and persisted for hours with fog and a sudden temperature drop followed by hail. The area saw minor rain in Altadena and a light shower in Pasadena as Arcadia noted the unusual late snow.

A group of seventeen hiked Sturtevant trail to Roberts camp near Sierra Madre for a campfire dinner and overnight.
