Eight Arcadia drivers fined for driving without lights
L. S. Davis, newly appointed assistant to City Marshal Treen, arrested eight motorists in Arcadia for operating without lights. Judge Horlock fined a total of 235 dollars, with five dollars from each except A Matthews whose only headlight was out. Drivers blamed electrical issues or blamed luck, some visiting Pottenger Sanitorium for a family illness before starting home.
