The Evening Star reports subscriptions to a new Anniston manufacturing project have reached 4150 of a 10000 goal with more expected. Backers include W W Stringfellow Montgomery Ocoker R Rose Blackmon and many others. A meeting will decide the industry type and leadership once 5000 is raised.

Bouiser Captured After Murder Riot In Palistine
Jim Bouiser, indicted for first degree murder, was found in a Georgia mine near Villa Rica and brought to Edwardsville. He admits involvement in the Palistine riot that killed James Price, with Carson already sentenced to life. Train Collision Kills Woman and Child at Riddle’s Crossing
At Riddle’s crossing near Petersburg a cannon ball train on the Norfolk and Western Railway struck a wagon carrying L. Loren and his family. The wife and a five year old daughter died instantly. A second daughter suffered severe leg injuries. another daughter survived with minor injuries. Loren and one son witnessed the tragedy as they returned from a circus.
