Drowned Man Found in Creek Near Piedmont Alabama
John Davis, recently from Alabama City, was found dead in a small creek about a mile from Piedmont. Snowfall shocks Raleigh in record early storm
Ratnica North Carolina reported yesterday morning a snow storm the greatest weather surprise for the region. Snow began before 7 o'clock at 34 degrees and lasted two hours with large flakes. Raleigh stood as the coldest southern point, ten degrees colder than Richmond and nearby cities within a hundred mile radius.
