A man, Gloss lance Ellis Toscano, fired five shots from a revolver at the car but caused no injuries. Paola Escandon seized the weapon and police detained Toscano, a felon recently released from Granaditas prison. The case is under investigation.

Prisoners Sentenced by City Court Judge
This morning at 9 o clock Judge Thomas W Coleman sentenced three prisoners from the jury term. Jerry McCileiland received life imprisonment for murder while James LeCroy was given twenty years for rape. Pink Douthard drew six years for forgery.
