Dr. Moore Dies of Heart Failure
Rev J H Moore, a Methodist minister formerly of this city, died at Dr W J Warren's home in West Anniston last night at 10 30. The death was due to heart failure after a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 10 from Dr Warren's residence conducted by Rev J L Brasher with interment in Edgemont cemetery. He had just returned from a trip to Europe and the Holy Land. age forty eight.

Auditorium remodeling contract awarded to J H Smoot
The contract for remodeling the Auditorium has been awarded to Contractor J H Smoot. Lumber is being placed on the ground and work will begin soon. The building will be floored ceiled and painted and made comfortable and attractive for the members of the gymnasium club. A reading room will be established and first class gymnasium fixtures will be installed. The building will be rendered as attractive as possible.

Large Fire Destroys Grady Hospital Wards in Atlanta
At Grady hospital in Atlanta two wards for negro patients were burned early today after embers in a laundry range sparked the blaze. The fire, aided by swift action from hospital staff, police, and firefighters, caused two deaths Eliza Smith and Sarah Holiday while patients were moved to safety at 87 Jenking Street.

Anniston adopts stock law via 1903 act amid council delays
The city of Anniston will enforce a general stock law by an Alabama legislature act. The measure prohibits horses cattle hogs and other stock from running at large in towns of five thousand or more. Councils must adopt ordinances to impound cattle and collect penalties and fees, effective after approval dated October 1 1903.
