Aggressor Licks Back After Street Altercation
A street confrontation on Eleventh and Market streets ended with J A Roberson of the Evening Star striking Andrew J Haley after Haley challenged headlines about Haley's liquor conviction. Roberson escaped with a facial scratch. Haley was downed but uninjured. An investigation is set for police court tomorrow. Haley sought a correction to yesterday's report naming his attorney Fred I Blackmon. Mrs Delia M Gilbert, leader of a reform Christian Science group in New York, plans a new church and argues the deposed Mrs Stetson failed due to radical wedlock views.
