Fire damages large portion of Re public Iron and Steel mill
Birmingham Oct. 10 A section of the rolling mill at the Republic Iron and Steel company was wiped out by fire about 6 o'clock last night. The blaze started from a spark from hot iron being trimmed by a large saw. Damage ranges from 10000 to 50000 dollars depending on water and fire damage to machinery. Machinery room bar mill two guide mills and part of the storehouse were ruined under a roof spanning about 200 feet square. Heavy timbers collapsed, hindering exact assessment. Loss covered by insurance.

Robinson Verdict Awards Plaintiff Damages in Malicious Prosecution Suit
