Negro Hanged by Mob in Arkansas Courthouse Yard
Ed McCullom, a Black man, was taken from the Sheri dan county jail by a masked mob and hanged from a tree in the courthouse yard. He had shot and wounded Marshal F. M. Crutchfield of Davis county during an attempted arrest for an assault to kill. He was captured Saturday and jailed in Little Rock prior to the lynching.
