Judge Randolph Freed by Colombian Government After Prison Term
Washington reports Minister Beaupre dispatch that Charles Radford of Alabama, alias Francis C. Randolph, a former Montgomery county probate judge, has been released from a 14 year murder sentence in Medellin. He served about eight years, paid his state debts, and inherited funds after his uncle's death. He left Alabama in 1895 on a career that included public office and a controversial land dispute.

Funeral of Ira Wigley
The funeral for Ira A. Wigley of Ward 5 was held at Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Oscar Lee officiating. Burial followed in Oxford Cemetery.
