Confederate Veterans Reunion To Be Held In Birmingham

The state reunion of the United Confederate Veterans and United Sons of Confederate Veterans will meet in Birmingham tomorrow and Thursday with large expected attendance. Delegates from Camp Pelham Anniston include J. B. Palmer and others. Camp John H. Caldwell delegates are Judge R. B. Kelly and others. Oxford Camp Samuel Kelly delegates include F. Douglass and D. Houston Smith. Miss Marion Kelly will sponsor both Anniston and Oxford camps. The Anniston delegation departs tomorrow morning.

Labor League Organized in Alabama

The United Labor League of Alabama has been formally organized at Birmingham. Delegates from Sheffield Annis ton Bessemer Mobile Florence Decatur Gadsden and most points in Alabama attended. The group aims to press labor questions and to implement the anti boycott law with union members becoming qualified electors.
