Tammany swept New York City yesterday electing McClellan mayor by 61 872 votes and carrying all city and borough tickets on Staten Island where Low led by 218 votes. A barge canal project Buffalo to Tidewater won by over 250 000 votes. Republicans gain in the legislature.
