Missionary Doctor Ayers and Family Reach Shanghai China
Dr T W Ayers and family have arrived in Shanghai and will likely serve as medical missionaries for the Southern Baptist convention. Schedule Changes On Southern Railway Prompt Delays
A service update notes schedule changes effective yesterday on the Southern Railway. The eastbound evening train now departs at 6.56 PM instead of 6.25 PM while the westbound leaves at 7.42 PM instead of 7.51 PM. Dr Francis McRae Dies After Illness at Home
Dr Francis McRae died Saturday noon at his residence 170 Moore Street of cancer of the face after a prolonged illness. The funeral was conducted by Rev BE Watson at a burying ground seven miles north of the city. He was highly esteemed and his death is deeply regretted by all who knew him.
