Rural Delivery Routes To Start March Fifteenth
The rural livery routes will begin March 15 from Oxford and Anniston post offices. Route 1 will serve southeast Calhoun County and parts of Cleburne, delivering to about six hundred families. Route 2 covers areas south of Oxford and parts of Talladega County, reaching about eight hundred people. Carriers W Massey and A J Afir will oversee routes, Pamaster Smith will go over Route 2 from Anniston, wagons ordered with red frames and white bodies, boxes and keys arriving soon, deliveries to commence after morning trains.
