The Elam Drug Co. offers special round trip tickets to boost Lake patronage. Tickets at 20e include a fifteen cent coupon usable for boat hire or rides. One fare each direction, not valid for a full line round trip unless boarding at terminals. 10 cent tickets cover Oxford to the Lake with a 10 cent coupon. A fourteen mile ride on open cars without leaving the car costs ten cents, but no tickets are accepted for this. No Sunday 12 noon to 6 pm round trips at 10¢.
Cars operate each Sunday afternoon and evening to shuttle visitors to Oxford Lake. Special cars available at reasonable rates and an illuminated car is offered for evening parties.
