Capital stock 50000 dollars in 500 shares. Succeeds the Sligo Coal Co and holds 1010 acres coal 412 acres iron 160 acres iron pyrites in Calhoun Eto wah and St Clair counties to be developed.
A violent Sunday in St Louis as a transit strike turns deadly. Rioters and authorities clash near a barracks on Wash ington Avenue with shots fired and deputies responding. Three people die and five or more are wounded, mostly strikers, with one of the injured possibly fatal.
Mr. Janes Buckler, manager of the Annis ton Carpet mills, reports six new carpet loom machines added to the mill. Business is good with many orders for the superior product from the well known mill.
Mr fh BE Swift of Parkersburg West Virginia says cholera morbus laid him up. He bought a bottle of Kermott’s Ext Bingk berry and was cured with one dose. He would pay 500 a bottle and endorses Kermott’s Black Berry Tonic as the best remedy for Summer Complaint and Diarrhea.
