Lightning Damages Several Aniston Homes In Storm
A severe electrical storm yesterday afternoon struck multiple Aniston residences. The Boyer home on Boyer Hill and the Bowie McElreath residence at Twelfth and Leighton suffered major damage. A chimney was torn and bricks showered onto Twelfth Street, with shingles ripped away. In the Bowie home Mrs Bowie Lulu Couch and Monroe Etheridge were briefly shocked but unharmed. The Richard residence at Seventeenth and Walnut also sustained roof and wall damage. No serious injuries were reported.
