First to Obey the Great Strike Order in New Castle

McComb Fined in Police Court for False Pretenses
J R McComb, a white man, was fined 50 dollars and costs by Mayor Pro Tem MecKleroy after he admitted posing as an agent for a New York picture house and taking portrait orders. Several residents were deceived before his arrest. An unnamed colored man was also fined 50 dollars and costs for carrying a concealed razor and contributing to the municipal fund.
