New Orleans Sept 26 The government of British Honduras is offering a railroad plan to link Belize and Cayo with a bonus of 4000 acres per mile and an assured revenue, attracting interest from American investors and Belizean officials. Henry Kovita of Belize, a steamer passenger, says the project promises a safe risk and large potential profits with completion costs to be born by backers.
Miss Julia Morrison and her husband F H James were arraigned before the city recorder in Cuartaxcona for preliminary hearing on the murder of actor Frank Leid. On motion of the state's attorney the case against James was dismissed.
