Disabled Veterans Urged to File Claims Before Deadline
November 11 1925 marks seven years since WWI armistice. The US Veterans Bureau allows five years from discharge or disability start to file a claim, with two extra years for good cause. C L Brownell of the American Legion warns that those disabled at discharge in 1917 or during early 1918 have already passed or near expiration. Dependent parents may also receive payments if eligible, and Brownell will provide further guidance to veterans of the War with Spain or World War I.
