The Opera House hosted a packed benefit for Americas Light Infantry with a faultlessly rendered programme. Highlights included Norine Mourine sung by Campbell, Miller and Daniel, Rosalind Royall in a recitation, a vocal duet by Mrs Maxwell and Miss Granberry, a notable medley with banjo mandolin and guitar, and the crowd-pleasing Song of the Regiment.
