LA GRANGE, July 26. Gordon Andrews prohibition agent, shot and seriously wounded near here Wednesday, died today. Andrews and J G Cobb, another agent, were fired on by three West Point youths mistaken for highwaymen. Tramby, a party member, was also slightly wounded and has sworn warrants against Cobb, Andrews and two others for assault with intent to murder.

July 26 Dawson reporter says J F E Crouch known as Jake, about 30, was found dead near railroad tracks in Kansas City Missouri early Wednesday. His mother Mrs Sallie Crouch received the message yesterday. He had two brothers and a sister, his father died years ago. He had gone to Texas oil fields about two years ago and was reported doing well. He had recently visited his widowed mother. The cause and circumstances of death are not known here.
