On or about July 15 the stock of Dry Goods Clothing Shoes Hats Furnishings and more will be moved to the store at 421 Jackson Street recently occupied by Americus Jewelry Company. Buy these goods cheap as the move is used to entice buyers with special prices and inducements.
A local ad lists Strochard Shirtings and various fine fabrics priced to move. Figures include porcelain yard goods, English organza, cordette, florals, and white goods with big cash discounts. many items marked down from higher prices. Cash-only terms stated, with higher rates if charged.
Gents Sply Linen Dollars and neckwear stock reduced as the shop moves to a new location. Hundreds of items including 500 neckwear pieces and negligee shirts priced to clear. New stock of suits and shoes offered 10 to 25 percent off with no old stock. Great reductions in all departments during the sale.
An excellent laxative syrup claims pleasant taste and strong cleansing effects. The California Fig Syrup Co advertises its syrup as gentle yet effective for constipation, warning that authentic bottles show the full company name and listing its distribution cities.
