On or about July 75th TOM MOVE announces removal or sale of stock to the Americus Jewelry Company at 421 Jack Street. He promises dry goods cloths shoes hats gents furnishings at cheap prices and urges buyers to act quickly. The note emphasizes easier sale than move and advertises special inducements.
A local advertisement markets discounted textiles including shirtings and white goods. It lists price cuts on corded fabrics, madras, ginghams, and relief quality items with yardage and sale figures aimed at clearances. The copy emphasizes lower rates per yard and pieces available at reduced prices.
Local retailer advertises a sweeping closeout to clear stock before moving to a new place. Neckwear, shirts, Negligees, and white goods offered at deep discounts, with selected items marked down and broad price cuts across suits, serges, and shoes.
