In Valdosta on Sunday two colored women Annie Porter and Mollie McLean were arrested for disorderly conduct with bonds set at 25 dollars each. One woman allegedly gave gum to the other woman's boy to put in his mother's coffee pot. The mother detected a sour odor and suspected poisoning. Gum will be analyzed to determine if poison was intended.

Irish envoy Ginnell found dead in Washington hotel
Lawrence Ginnell, who styled himself envoy for the De Valera Irish party in the United States, was found dead in a Washington capital hotel room. Doctors cited natural causes. Consolidation Plans Move Forward for Nation's Railways
Washington April 17 Senator Cummins chair of the Senate Interstate Commerce committee said the Interstate Commerce Commission will outline plans at the next Congress to consolidate and regionally supervise U S railroad systems.
