The Texas state highway commission seeks bids for 55 miles of road work in Panola Comanche Wilbarger Carson and Chambers counties for the October 15 session. The Carson project on Highway 117 covers 14.73 miles with concrete pavement and bituminous macadam on Caliche base, estimated at 300 000 dollars. Chambers project on Highway 125 runs 19 miles from the Jefferson county line to State Highway 61 with a transportation value not more than 700 dollars.
