Mexican Faces First Kidnap Trial in County
The first kidnaping trial in Potter county is set to begin in criminal district court. Defendant Gertrude S. Cervantez has been free on a $1,000 bond since arrest. Prosecuting witness is 15 year old Victoriana Zustella. The alleged incident ended in Farwell with the girl marrying Enrique Barpear, a friend of Cervantez. Divorce suit filed by the girl yesterday.
