Firms Join in Hospital Plan in Amarillo Enrollment Soars
About 50 to 60 firms and organizations in Amarillo have enrolled in the Group Hospital Service Inc. for employees. District officers were established last fall with chamber sponsorship. The plan offers non profit hospital coverage with up to 35 days per employee for as low as 50 cents monthly and 75 percent cost coverage for dependents. Potter County Medical Society endorses it. Amarillo enrollment exceeds 3,000 people, growing by around 300 monthly.
