Father of Amarillo man dies in Pawnee Oklahoma

Charles C. Meeker, father of Rev. Martin A. Meeker of Amarillo, died yesterday at Pawnee Oklahoma after about two months illness. He was 81 and a retired cattle man. Rev. Meeker, associate pastor of the First Christian Church, is ill with influenza and will be unable to attend the funeral at Pawnee tomorrow at 1 PM.

Ralph Dykeman outlined club programs as 106 football trainees, 42 lettered, with 27 in basketball and 50 in tumbling. two Mavericks were named among the progress.
