Amarillo Couple Hoards 3000 Indian Arrowheads in Museum-Scale Collection
Quiet Amarillo pair Mr. and Mrs. James N. Flowers build one of Texas Panhandle’s largest arrowhead collections. They display eastern and western points, clay pipe reamers, buckskin pouches, and a self crafted display case housing about 120 arrowheads per case. Their finds span from dust storms of 1938 to sites in Western Kansas and within 125 miles of Amarillo.
