Danny and the Snow Man repair the Snow Man's arm with snow and seek a remarkable fir tree for the Wizard of Wasoon. They bring the tree to the Valley of Wasoon and obtain a pill to straighten Danny's leg, but the elf Flournoy steals the pill, igniting a chase toward Santa Land.
Spelt the elf reappeared and offered a pill to Danny. He swallowed it, then the Snow Man watched as his leg twisted and bent crooked. The elf had swapped the pill with poison, darkening Danny's fate as they faced the looming Wishing Pool tomorrow.
Singers will present the first public Amarillo SPEBSQSA unit appearance since charter. A Family Night Program at San Jacinto Youth Center Sunday at 8. Priday night features Gaddis the Magician with a half hour sleight of hand act. Tickets 25 cents adults 10 cents children, on sale by SPEBSQSA members and San Jacinto Youth Council or at the door.
Rolls of three cent stamps for mailing machines can be obtained at the Amarillo post office. D W Baker says the office distributes 2000 rolls to regional businessmen every three months, with 500 stamps per coil. He notes they have been out of the rolls for some time and urges businessmen to pick up their rolls promptly.
The 468th Composite Group will convene at 8 pm Thursday in Potter County Courthouse. A roundtable will discuss directives on Reserve activities, and the film Operations Crossroads will be shown. Lt. Col. Carl Hill Jr. commands the group and will lead.

A boy named V L Duck from West Seventh loses seventy five dollars after his mother gives him cash to buy concrete blocks. He later finds three twenty dollar bills and a ten and a five attached to tumbleweeds along his travels, eventually recovering all but one bill and earning the title pretty lucky Duck.
Gene Klein president of the chamber calls an 11 o'clock Friday morning directors meeting at the chamber offices to discuss local business matters.
Quartermaster Ken Duke, editor of the new Naval Reserve Training Center paper, began staffing at last night’s meeting. Seaman Jack Rogers named assistant editor. The Prairie Schooner will publish its first issue early in January.
